Leonardo lives in Miranda State, one of the 23 states of Venezuela.
His state is located in northern Venezuela, bounded by the Caribbean Sea
on the northeast, by the Venezuelan states of Guárico on the south and Aragua on the west, and by the federal district.
The state is named in honour of Francisco de Miranda, a revolutionary who helped to pave the way for independence in Latin America.
Merida and more generaly Venezuela is place of biodiversity and incredible landscapes.
It is the home of to the world's highest waterfall.
From paradisiacal beaches to impenetrable jungles that remain largy unexplored territories, it is a place of incomparable beauty.
Leonardo is an experienced operator who has been on the air for over 45 years.
He is a fully licenced operator who has won many awards and trophies.
His working conditions consist of Yaesu FT 840, a Yaesu FT 3000 and a Yaesu FT 747 transceivers.
Leo has many antennas for different bands, all erected on a 9 mt high tower.
Among them is a tri band Mosley Ta 33 Yagi antenna, a 12 element cubical quad stacking antenna for VHF, a 22 element for VHF as well and a vertical antenna for 11 mt.
