Sherman
Situated just 48 km (30 miles) from the shore of Venezuela, Curaçao is one of the Dutch islands, part of the kingdom of the Netherlands in the South Caribbean Sea.
Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao and boasts an array of colonial architecture that is influenced by Dutch styles.
With several national Parks, clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches, Curaçao is a unique caribbean island paradise.
On the air since 1986, Sherman is a very experienced operator
who has worked 323 DXCC.
Well known and respected by the 11 m DX community, Sherman
enjoys an ordinary QSO as much as hunting new DXCCs or IOTAS.
He just loves the hobby and with his natural generosity, he is always prepared to help other operators in any way possible.
His working conditions consist of a Yaesu FT DX 5000 MPL,
a 5 el long boom yagi antenna on an 18 m crank up tower,
and a 2KW Maco amplifier.
